Description
Handmade with hand-dyed and screen printed Japanese paper (washi), each earring is unique and one-of-a-kind. No two pairs are the same. Many of the motifs are inspired by natural beauty and traditional Japanese patterns often used in kimono designs.
The earrings are hand finished with two protective coats of matte varnish. Not only will the stunning colours and stylish design make you stand out in a crowd, the earrings are light as a feather, weighing less than 2 grams each!

Each pair features handmade Yuzen/Chiyogami paper, a traditional Japanese decorative paper where vibrant patterns are screen printed one colour at a time. The washi has been sourced from small paper-making studios all over Japan.
Jewellery findings
Pure titanium earring hooks and surgical stainless steel eyepins have been used. Both are hypoallergenic and suitable for those with sensitive ears.
