Jewellery findings
Surgical stainless steel earring posts have been used. All findings are hypoallergenic and nickel-free and suitable for those with sensitive ears.
Unique pair
The earrings are handcrafted so each pair may look slightly different depending on which part of the paper is used.
About washi
Washi is traditional Japanese paper. Mainly made from fibres of the mulberry bush (kōzo), the paper is processed and made by hand in a long and intricate process. This washi is handmade by local artisans in the Southern Region of Japan. Vibrant sheets of gold leaf are applied to the paper using a blend of traditional Japanese and French gilding techniques.
The quality of the paper and the vibrant colours are what make this washi so special.
